COD4 map-packs
Discussion
Well I finally decided I couldn't wait for Activision to come back to me with a date for the new download codes, so bought some points and downloaded the maps this morning (bet I get an email tomorrow now!).
They look great, already played online hardcore at Creek, it was mental, really hard when you dont know a map at all, cant wait to try studio.

I really like Creek too (I have it for the PS3), but most people seem to hate it. I think it is the best map in the pack, Broadcast and Killhouse equal second and China Town a very poor forth, I really can't get on with it. Probably because I still dont really know where I am going.
I love Creek, probably because I have a couple of excellent spots for each side on team games, I always do well even if my team is utter poo. Broadcast is pretty good, I generally run around silenced on there, its very effective. Chinatown is very good, its grown on me a lot. Its nice to just camp behind some claymores, people are usually too stupid to throw a grenade, and just suicide themselves at you in a banzai run. Killhouse is way too open, I don't like it.I didn't even realise that those were DLC maps, I waited an age to buy COD4 so got the Game of the Year edition with included the maps. Broadcast is one of my favourites... I'm not a fan of Creek but I usually do pretty well on it. I have never played Killhouse, probably because I only ever do Headquarters or Hardcore Headquarters.
Creek is the only badly designed map in the game. With a couple of snipers on each side it can turn a game into a stalemate really quickly. The snipers can pin down the hill and the side of it and you only need on player on each side to cover the tunnel. You then have to just sit there and have a really boring slow game waiting for the snipers to pick off the odd kill.
Creek - great until you play a well organised bunch who effectively back you into the corner, move no further forward and spawn kill you with snipes until their hearts content. Hugely frustrating.
Chinatown - didn't like at first, but has grown on me massively. Some very underused routes of getting about meaning if done well you can get behind the line and stealthily approach the unsuspecting enemy.
Broadcast - equally like a lot, and once you appreciate the map and the slightly less obvious positions then it can be great for sniping.
All of the above on 360, 95% of the time on hardcore team dm. Would like to hook up with some PHers online. I'll view the gamertags and add some if you don't mind, then it'll be easier to see who's online when.
My Gamertag is Colonel Cub.
