Games that will run on this low spec PC?

I'm off to China again soon and on previous trips I've got a bit bored on the plane and wished I had some games to play on my laptop.
However, my laptop is a hand-me-down and hence is rather low spec!
Dell Inc. Inspiron 510m
600 MHz Intel Pentium M
512 Mb RAM
120 Gb Hard Drive
When I was younger I used to play Dune 2 on the Amiga, Settlers 2, Command & Conquer and Doom/Quake on the PC.
Are there any more recent versions of this type of game that would run on this laptop?

I'm pretty sure command and conquer 2: Red alert will run on that, it did on my pc with lower spec.
Civilisation 2 or 3 would be fine too.
Then there's theme park and theme hospital (although getting them to work in a DOS environment can be a pain unless newer versions have addresed this).
Finally, try "Uplink" from introversion software. It's a highly addictive hacker game but beware if you're off to china - it has been mistaken for the real thing and they might not take kindly to it!

Download a few emulators, they will run happily on that spec PC.
A lot of older games will run on that spec but as it's unlikely to have any hardware 3D capability your best sticking to older C&C/Age of Empires etc.. type games that dont need 3D GFX cards. 3D games will generally look crap and run slow.

Do you get wireless on planes?
If so what about Counterstrike? Half-life 1 is fairly light as well.

How about giving Doomsday a go, it's the modern update to Doom that gives it mouse look and updated graphics, shading, lighting effects.Are there any more recent versions of this type of game that would run on this laptop?
