CoD Waw story....

Okay, I bought WaW today, started playing at about 5-6ish. And I've just completed it, amazing story but that was way too bloody short, even CoD4 felt longer.

I know single player isn't really what cod is about, but I feel ripped off!

Got Crysis at the same time - Now that's a PC game!

Already had Warhead (yes, I know - arse way around) but we get limited stocks of stuff here in Dubai so you take what you can get.

Crysis keeps pulling me back in - WaW hasn't done that at all.

one of the reasons cod4 is much more popular than cod5 and one of the reasons they went to cod4 for a sequel.

The single player game is always on a couple of hours work..... Though isn't there a Zombie mode to play (if it isn't on the Wii)?

BUT, it's the on-line gameplay that you get your money out of....Easy to want to play for 45 hours therefore you've paid £1 an hour max for the game, which starts to make it worth the money.

If the game feels different to CoD4, it will be because it was a different studio who developed the game. The same guys who did CoD3, which as far as I know was a disaster of a game.

People play it on easy then complain that its over too soon... HA! try it on vet like this guy says... took me WEEKs with online co-op....

I almost cried trying to finish that level on veteran, and did a victory leap around the lounge whilst having what felt like an emotional breakdown when I finally did it

Agreed, Crysis is epic stuff, involving, not formulaic like COD. Need a monster PC though!

Agreed on the 'monster PC' bit - mine is about 4 months old and the highest spec media/gaming desktop that HP did (Windows experience index of 5.9 system rating) and I can't have everything set to the max without a bit of judder creeping in. Still, even with a few things only set to high it still looks absolutely stunning - best I've seen tbh.

Amazing graphically considering how long it has been out. I remember downloading a demo on my old PC, it made my PC feel like a 386!

Took me ages to complete it on Veteran, little bit by little bit, you've got to get the commando runs right.


ETA: If it's easy & you feel ripped off join us on-line and show us what you've got. Either PS3 or XBox 360 we need players.

I gave up on that. Therefore a frustrating 980/1000 Gamerpoints. Even watching youtube vids over and over I still couldn't do it. Best I got was 'just' entering the final room.

Now just going to do Yellow Cross 55 on MP. Up to YC45ish now.
