I play Desert combat alot.
Not so much the last few days as have been playing callof duty, and Project Gotham 2 on Xbox

my pc at home gets used practically 24/7 for this game although i work away so it's not actually me that generally gets to do the killing (dammit). 'dogflaps' is the usual name, so if you see them, finish them! (but not at the weekend cos that might be me!)

I started playing this recently, I'm totally hooked. I love flying the big choppers with a few people manning the guns (Sea Rigs is a good map for this). I can actually land them now too!

Just got the Desert Combat mod

Having some problems with some of the maps though - goes very strange - you can see through the terrain

Any helpful hints?

doesn't happen to me. sure you've got all the latest bits? i think dc is now on 0.6 & bf1942 is 1.5

Yup - got the most recent version. Turned out my Nvidia driver wasn't the most recent one (although I'm sure I checked this recently).

I recently started getting this too after I updated my Nvidia drivers, looks like I need some newer ones

3 servers running 24 hrs (DC server a bit laggy & lotsa players all the time, but the other 2 are great)

BTW - there was a player called "outcast" in the DC server a week or two ago.......wondered if it was you?
