i just got it today, however i am waiting on the updates, currently 3000 out of 7000 odd. I`m thinking about starting out with a elf hunter, this is my first go at a mmporg thingy ma jig.

google lord of the rings online, i got it plus the expansion pack for £15 from game, only bad thing is first 30 days free then subscription. The videos on youtube make it look pretty decent

I played for a week or so when it first came out and didn't think much of it really, played WoW for a few months at the beginning of the year and find that much better.

It will take ages the 1st time you play, I've just updated and my client had 66 updates.

Hunters are the main DPS (Damage per Second) ranged characters followed Champions for hand to hand DPS. I play a champ lvl60 and a Loremaster (wizard) early 20's.
