I've just discovered this too... looks like an excellent idea, to have 2 completely separate games which feed into each other
As long as it's not like EVE's 'factional warfare' which basically got won by 1 side... the Caldari captured the entire Gallente map, last I checked. Not really an ideal situation that there's a clear losing side in a game. Kinda makes ppl stop playing.
Sounds like Dust 514 affects 0.0 sovereignty more than empire space, though.
