Nobody in the world is getting it. They'll never release it - I've given up checking for updates. Shame cos Prologue was utter ste.

The AI looks pretty similar to me sadly.

For me though it is still a must buy, just like Forza 3 and Shift.

GT games have never been about racing, just driving. I work my way through the championships for the cash and thats it. Its the lap times with different cars that I enjoy. Duff AI wont be much of a problem for me.

Oh dear, that really doesn't sell it. The AI looks, if anything, even worse than before and the "damage" looks bloody awful too. I am one of the GT series biggest supporters but all I can see there is a concentration on pretty pictures at the expense of physics, AI and gameplay.

Not looking good.

Yes the AI is a bad point, but I think the physics look really good, as in GT5 Prologue.

Can't see the vid but assuming it's one of the Tokyo 264 with the Impreza...

I have read (from a french interview) that the version shown last week was one of the first builds with damage, and that a later build was also shown later on. This would make sense if they are building the damage model complexity up from the individual bits which can be damaged. I'm only hoping that they are also working on the AI.

As for the driving only, I enjoyed it from the original GT through to GT3, when GT4 came out I wanted some imporvments in the racing, GT5 had better have those improvements tank

GT4 had loads of cars, but I never got most of them cause you had to play the single player mode to earn the money and complete the tournaments to win many of the interesting cars.

While money might not be a problem anymore with online races, if some of the cars I want are locked into winning specific tournaments that require progress through the single player game, that's no good.

The AI does look better than in GT4 though, notice how the R8 keeps locking up, in one of the videos the RX7 spins around. Also some of the cars are sliding around the corners instead of being stuck on a scalextric track.

If you really don't like the AI don't buy it.
