Racing games

will all the racing games (neep for Speed, that new one with the Enzo in the TV ad, GT series etc.) be as good on PC? I'm thinking of buying one or two. I hope my PC can take them

Will the graphics, detail and stuff be as good as, say, on a PS2 or Xbox?

I'd say that very much depends on the spec of your PC!

A top spec PC will be better than any console and the games that are often PC specific will be more realistic than the consoles arcade style racing game.

that is true, but for simple pick up and play accessibility, enthralling multiplayer games and unrivalled in -game voice communication, Nothing comes close to XBOX Project Gotham 2.
Plus the handling is far more realistic than most console offerings.
Ive got a Pc and played loads of onlinerace games, including GPL, NAscar3 and 4, Porsche unleashed.
I can honestly say that PGR2 as a whole is better than all of them (herecy I know) .IMHO
