Both versions are identical. Get what your mates have.
Said it before and I'll say it again, if the PS3 is free and the X-Box you have to pay to go on-line, then PS3.... Of course, there appear to be far more PS3 players on PH (Me included) soooooo you'll get to join in all the games on here with a PS3.......Jasandjules said:

I'm sorry, but that's just rubbish. As said before, buy what your mates have - it's the same f
king thing at the end of the day.A console is a bloddy console, I wish fanboys would just f
k off and die.Edited by ih8thisname on Thursday 13th August 13:47
Mark,
Are you into driving games too, if so then definately go for the XBox version and pay for XBL (cant believe people whinge about £2 per month!)
You will find a massive bunch of us on COD4 and Forza and often are having some good inter-game battles, with 'them' beating us on COD and us whopping there butts on Forza

As for Pauls comments about immature users I cant comment as there are always enough pistonheaders on to have a full party so we dont listen to the public chat.
PS3 just cant match the xbox for online experience, but I will still buy one for GT5. I'll stick to playing games such as Cod on the xbox though.

Any opinions on the PC version? Nearly bought it at the weekend...
Providing you have a decent PC, its head and shoulders better than any console FPS could ever hope to be.M@T.R said:

Nope. Consoles are less hassle, more convenient and are a level playing field for gaming (same hardware, same graphics/ resolution etc). I can change the TV channel and be in a game of COD4 in less than a minute.I played online PC games for years, since Quake in the mid-nineties and frankly, I think console gaming is the way forward.

The standard of console online FPS is awful. Its almost boring because of this. You have no choice as to what server/maps you play. Loading up cod4 on a pc takes the same amount of time as putting the disk in a console and turning on the TV.

Slightly OT, but the biggest plus for PC’s is that the numbers of players in a game are always so much bigger. Often 64 players on a PC game, whereas consoles are only ever 16max. Anyone know why?
Probably coding. Sony is bringing out a PS3 title with 256 players. It's called MAG.Gassing Station | Video Games | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
