The simbin link suggests it'll be based on GTR2 engine which should make it pretty good.

it drives well and sounds good, but i really only enjoyed driving the old 240. now i'm just waiting for someone to port it over to gtr evo, i'd love to spank that 240 round the 'ring!

The old 240 is part of the GTL mod for rfactor.
The same car as I drove in the last pistonheads championship.
