But all the games look a bit babyish compared to the PSP and the stuff my kids have for their DSs, yawn! Imagine Vet, Pretend to Cook, Look after Baby etc
I have ordered a learn French thing but any suggestions welcome. Was gonna get the GTA one but appears to be a step back to GTA2 before it went 3D on the Playstation.
See loads of adults with them on the tube and bus so there must be something worth playing, maybe like the games on the iPod Touch but I can't find any.

GTA Chinatown Wars is a bit of a laugh, and if you've played GTA 4 for any length of time, you'll soon recognise the city layout and be able to zip round it at a decent pace.
Yes it's a bit of a throwback to GTA and GTA2 but the machine isn't like the PSP - it's designed as a quick and easy, fun games device. The PSP is the more "serious" handheld, and is pretty much a pared back PS2.
R4 cards are also known as flashcarts, and it's a way of playing "homebrew" games, you can use them for other dodgy purposes but homebrew is the most legit use of them.
I've only got three games for mine, those being Brain Training, Trauma Centre - Under the Knife and GTA CW but it gets some occasional hammering... infact, I've left it in the car - I'm gonna go grab it, charge it and see what's what in Liberty City!!!

http://eng.supercard.sc/manual/dsone/ one of them. for game back ups only
they're good. theres actually quite a few games that seem childish but actually are still quite fun. professor layton is extremely challenging at times, puzzler collection is quite good too, can be relaxing. the gta game is quite good too, it looks identical to gta 1 and 2 but it plays really well, has a lot of sidemissions to keep you going after the main story line. the drug dealing is really engrossing in a disturbing way too.
