As title really. I don't have much time for gaming these days so a game has to be good to getme on the PC. Played bioshock through recently, then started FarCry2 but it's not gripping me at all. And lack of time means I'm out of touch with what's out.

I like sneakers/snipers as much as shooters, and they mustn't be best-played-online games as I need the little life I do have for sleeping!

Thanks in advance

Well Alpha Protocol is out soon I think - that's kind of a shooter/rpg/sneaker type game.

Failing that - any of the classic D&D/Star Wars ones such as Neverwinter Nights/2 or Knights of the Old Republic/2?

Or of course the splinter cell games - 3 was my favourite

Finally, turn based options like Silent Storm are pure classic and make you think before you move - always good.

Played all the old games (especially the star wars ones!) - Doom caused me to buy my first PC and I've been hooked ever since.

Splinter Cells were waaayyyyy too linear (IMHO wink ) and I'm not keen on turn-based. I'll have a look at Alpha Protocol, ta.

What platform are you looking at? Gears of War 2 on the 360 is an excellent FPS whether you're looking for a 30-minute blast or hours of game play; satisfying headshots as well wink The other one I'd recommend is Bad Company.

Battlefield 2 has snipers if that's what you want. Just don't do the idiotic ducking and bouncing style of some snipers.

Played all the Thief series (and Hitman, which is probably my favourite), and all the Half Life series wink

Isn't Battlefield 2 an on-line?

I'll have a look at Velvet Assassin and ARMA 2 (was there an ARMA 1?? What's ARMA? Told you I'm out of touch ;0 ).

Cheers folks

Online if you wan't devious Opponents.

Battlefield now comes with Bots though for the Offline Gamer. Battlefield 2 over BF2142 though if you like Sniping.

Fallout 3 can be played as a Sniper/Sneaker. So how about that? If you're limited for time it has the advantage that you can save the game anywhere and to top it off, there's a large ammount of PH gamers who play/ed it.
