FM2 Anniversary Celebration CHEAP Paints and Tunes

It's coming up to the 2nd birthday of Forza Motorsport 2.

And as part of the celebration many of the fanasty livery community have oganised a HUGE sell off some of the best paints and tunes out there.
And the best part is they will all start at 5k!
So far there is over 1100! cars going up tonight at midnight for 24 hours no buyout.

The last time this happened it was called the Crumpet Sale (?) and it was madness and great fun, Me Dibs and Luke all got in a chat party and spent 3 hours being amazed at paint jobs, bidding, talking ballax and p!ssing ourselves... it was much fun till the early hours..
Many of the car will come with pro tunes on them, so it all good.

i suggest if your up for it you pick a few cars out now, and take a note of there Make/model, as seaching for car when there are over 1100 all set to end at the SAMETIME will be close to impossible..

I'm personaly putting up 40 cars (maybe with Dib's help if he can be bothered) but if anyone wants one of my Anniversary R34 and misses them in the AH just ask.

I just sold the cars I bought from it as well...!

Was thinking the same, hope the AH is up for it after the problems in the last 24hrs, I've lost the money for 3 sale cars 1.5m cr.

I'm on the AH now and they are still here, cant bid on anything, cant receive money for sold cars and then they disappear, cant collect any won cars

I've just been through the lists OMG some amazing cars, what sort of money do they fetch? Are there bargain to be had or is it all people with bottomless pockets?

Seen 22 cars that I want and thats on the 1st look, guessing one of the top sellers is in there too, a certain Luc Besson film

By the way Joe which Porker is the Battle of the Planets paint going on?

Generally there are soo many cars that if you keep slipping bids in on many things you will end up with a few.

The key is to not look too hard or want anything in particular. More to lay a load of bids and bump a few and fingers crossed no one else notices. With so many cars all at once you are bound to end up with something.

Last time I spent about 5Million and ended up with 5/6 cars after bidding on about 20.

It sounds utterly ludicrous but it really was good fun last time

What sort of credits are these likely to go for? I only have a lowly 1/2 mill?!?

If you purely bid the minimum on loads of cars you will most likely end up with something (10k)

If you go after a specific car they seemed to be going for 200k. The really special ones went 'silly' over $Millions where the bidding went on and on.

Well its nearly half past 1, I've been through the auctions and found almost all the cars I wanted, bid on them all, expect to be outbid on them all by the morning, but at least I know they are all in 'my bids' now.
