Rfactor loss of engine sound on some mods!

anyone have experience of loss of sound on engine noise on some mods?

mine is updated to 1255 version and gp2, 1955 f1 , nascar etc have went this way!!! any ideas how to get them back or do these mods not work with rfactor version 1255??

It's because those mods use the default sounds from rFactor and with the update a change was made that means the paths in those mods to the sounds is now wrong.

Did you download the v1.255 update without sounds? It's the v1.255 update with sounds update that you need.

Hey thanks a lot!!! i will try updating it now!!! i think i did download the lite version!!!

tried downloading full version and then taking sounds file and and posting but still no joy!!! any ideas please!!!!
