I am as well. I've tried a flat bridge with support under, flat bridge with overhead support, I think the trick with this one is to suspend the walkway under with the last section in line with the hill the other side with a flat support level above, but haven't worked it out yet.

Its very annoying, I can get the first box across but the bridge colapses when the second one is half way.

It seems to be a lot easier than you think and goes against the previous bridges by holding up. I had even tried a mini-Forth bridge until I went all simple.

I built it with $878 still left over.

Aye same problem, i build a bridge to cover the large gap but cant seem to save enough money to build something to slow down the chest from smashing the bridge apart.

Level 20. build a bridge that absorbs the falling safe. Stiff bridges will break, think rope bridge and keep it very simple.
