I've just bought one for a bargain price of £50 and would like some recommendations for games.

Which are must haves and which should be avoided?

GTA Chinatown Wars is excellent too. That and Zelda would be my top two picks.

Not sure whether we are going into naughty territory on here by discussing what it does or does not do, on the legal side you can use it to load home brew games ,pictures or even films on it .Some people may use it to load all the latest cracked games on it.

Anyway heres a link to the actual card

I've got one and I use it to download roms of the games that I already own so that I don't have to carry them around.

Just to point out, the DSi needs a different R4 to the DS/DSL.

I have a Cyclo DS card which is good, if you add a EZ FLASH 3-in-1 card as well, you can backup your games as well wink My research suggested it was marginally better than the R4 card (features/ compatibility etc).

Personally I would get Mario Kart DS and Puyo Puyo 15th Anniversary. Puyo Puyo isn't widely known over here as it's a Japanese game, but it's easily one of the greatest puzzle games ever. Think Tetris but a million times better smile

Ok, I've ordered Zelda, Advance Wars and Ace Atterny. Should keep me busy for a while. My dad has Professor Layton and I like it, I'm sure he'll let me borrow it.

The R4 card, how do you need to download games onto it or does it come with games? If you need to download oes it cost money to do this, or is there a site where you can get them for free?
