I keep reading on here about people limiting the races to B700 cars. I know what you mean by B700 but why? Also, it seems quite difficult to get the car to be exactly B700, I get B697 (or whatever) and then it goes over.

Andrew,

B700 is just another class, the reason we run it alot is that it can be very competitive and close racing.

Re getting it spot on B700, you will find some upgrades will only change the figure by a few points, tyres compounds, wheel diameter, alloy style they can all be tweaked by a point or 2 here and there.

In the same way BTCC is more 'physically competitive' than Formula One.

The limits are lower so there is more give, more capacity for bumps and trips on the grass and slightly lesser speeds meaning a closer Race with less millimetre error= game over situations.

Totally agree with the above comments. Some of the best racing to be had in Forza is usually with the PH gang in B700 cars. No matter what car, track, drive configuration or upgrades are on each car, if they're all around B700 they are so evenly matched, yet not so modified so that one error distroys your race (and car!)thumbup

Excellent.

So slightly off topic. Now that I've got a few friends on Xbox Live what's the current etiquette when it comes to getting involved in games? Obviously I don't want to intrude on a championship but would like to get involved with racing like minded individuals.

We have the Rallycross tonight, but fingers crossed will be done by 10 so a few of us will be kicking around afterwards.

Depends what you want, if you look at the leaderboards the Renault 5 GT is one of the top cats in B class, but there are some cracking Minis about and lots of other stuff too smile

I made a Clio 'Cup' last night which is circa 'B700', don't know how it's going to compare but I quite like it... just to do work out how to add decals to the damn thing

Found some cracking tutorials on Forza.net its quite easy with basic stuff, it must be as I can do it. An easy 1st try is to build yourself a cop car, squares, triangles, stripes and circles is all you need plus a few letters, will give you a feel for copying / pasting etc

That brings back memories........

No Curry was still a wee school boy back then and his Mum (wow she's hot) made sure he came straight home from school, washed his hands, scrubbed his knees, got changed and did his homework. Then after his tea he was allowed to play with his sister's dolls before heading off to bed thumbup

That was a shot from the PH Forza Touring Touring Car Championship with me getting my Colonel out!!!!
