The nations cup is over and the International cup is on its way.

Only two more rounds left of the Retro Rally Cross championship.

I hear there is another retro series on the horizon but dont want to steal someones thunder, but dying to find out more, cars / class etc just so I can start building and testing before I choose my steed smile

I was thinking maybe a Clio cup? New 197's (DLC) or the old V6?
Say either tune them to B700 spec or no engine mods, all race drivetrain stuff, race tyres and Forza aero?
I think the Championships where we all start on a level playing field are the most fun. It becomes then a driver's competition, rather than a tuner's!
If anyone's up for it, that is!

Carl,

I said I'd wait for the International Nations Cup to get underway before launching the "PH Swinging Sixties Championship". As it says on the tin, open to any car built in the 60's with a few execptions i.e. No Cobra's or GT40's, but will allow for the Lotus Elan (a 70's car in game) etc.

Working on the details but probably B700 with free tuning to get there and no aero allowed. Hopefully this would create Touring Car style racing from the 60's with some cars quick in a straight line and ccensoredp around corners and others slower on the straights and great on brakes & handling.

I'd produced a list of almost 30 cars that would comply.

Sound any good?

I would definitely be interested in participating in any upcomming event that might be held. (Travel/Work Permitting)

Personally an avid racing gamer from a young age. I play on Forza 2 quite often.

I love the idea of the 60's race, GT500-KR Allowed? wink or one of your "exceptions"?

I've been hoping that somebody would start a Clio Cup series in Forza so I'd be well up for it

I'm also up for a Carrera Cup.

Count me in for either smile

The Swinging Sixties cup sounds like a superb idea!

It would be like the Mini Cooper vs Ford Mustang Racing of days gone by eh?!

I presume this would be after Carls Rallycross championship is done?

Don't want to overload ourselves with championships now, do we? thumbup
