Most missions involved bombing the crap out of you intended targets, then flying about taking as much out until your weapons ran out.....then limp home.....and possibly get shot down in the process!!!

We had 3 games to sort out differences of opinion;

Mano-a-mano combat.

They were;
Speedball 2
Sensible Soccer
Bip (a freeware side-on single-screen biplane combat game)

I also enjoyed another Sensible Software product - Cannon Fodder, it was very addictive, like Lemmings oh, forgot about Lemmings!

wash your mouth out with soap and water, it was designed for the Amiga! The PC version came after and was an afterthought.

Hummmmm. Amiga's in the loft. I wonder if it still works

Chronologically:

Jetfighter 2 (ran on a 386 - plus I could land on the carrier, rearm and refuel and takeoff again :-)
Aces over Europe (won't run in Windows, boo)
SimCity 2000
Worms (original version)
Civilisation 2

...and Tetris of course for when you don't have 3 days spare!
