Forza 2 Autosave?

This has started to piss me off now, is there any way of turning the autosave off on Forza 2?

I don't know I'm afraid. But its the only game that saves once you pass the start menu. WTF is it saving?

I agree with randomman, what is it saving? The fact that I've pressed A?
Its a bit retarded at best.

Apparntly there isn't a way of doing so, but what you could do is copy the files to a memory card and disconnect the harddrive (if what your wanting to do is to upgrade a car etc without actually saving it). Then disconnect the memory card from the Xbox and put the harddrive back on if all fails and your back to normal. Seems long winded - But hope it helps.

Sounds like a really good way to corrupt your profile.
But yeah why do you actually want to turn off auto save?

So i can get a crap car and make it stupidly quick without saving with the crap car.

Ah, the old GT "Tweak it and Bin it" approach! I usually just flog my project cars on the AH after I'm done.

I would do that but i havn't got a clue how to set up live.

So there is no way of turning autosave off then? bummer..
