iPhone - iMob

Cant find anything running on PH for this game...

Is anyone else here playing it?
Couldn't get into Mob Wars on Facebook, but am thoroughly enjoying the iPhone version!
Best game for the iPhone, imho.

Its free too.
Any PH Mobsters here?

I have it on the phone - must be missing the point of it... Seems slow once you get through the first few levels. I now have 12m every hour coming in and nothing to spend it on....

Fieldrunners is a much better wAste of time!

Fieldrunners was great. After countless hours of play, it became boring.

Sentinel I enjoyed much more, as a tower strategy game.

imob though, I spent more time playing it in the first 3 days than I did GTA4 on the PS3. Although Im getting the impression from others too, that you run out of things to buy. Which takes you back into the fights, Id imagine.

No PH mob, and you cant earn more respect points, only buy them. Purchases are limited to once only, so dont really feature in the game. Dont bother.

The trick is to spend all your money on property, and not to level up too fast through missions. When fighting, only attack others with money generating assets whose mobs are smaller than yours. Pour your fight money back into property. Seem to be a lot of people later on in the game, who don't have much land as they spent their cash on weapons in the early days.

I took the day off today, spent most of the day playing it.
Cant be arsed with the manual number entry to add people. 20 minutes of using the gps/triangulation/whatever invitation method, and an hour or more of just adding people, Ive got 1300 mobsters.

What irks me, are the people who post their number to your news page, asking you to add them. If they are mass mailing you, you are already on their list. If you can add people so easily/quickly using the inbuilt feature, why do others mail you to ask you to mail their number out to your own mob, when you cant forward or copy the numbers. Seems a bit daft really. I also cant understand the random messages from some users, who struggle to find mobsters. Perhaps they are ipod touch users, I dont know.

Have come to the conclusion tha this game is awful....waste of time.
Loads of money but nothing to spend it on - over 3.5bn in the bank with 25m coming in every 55 mins.
Have the most powerful weapons available....
Ranking up doesn't bring anything different and it just repeats as an experience.
Most frustrating is the volume of Hackers - tons of them. Lets call them cheats. And petty minded ones that will constantly attack.

I prefer iKnight. Same thing, less players.

Delete it.
But admit, you did enjoy getting there. Offered quite a bit of playtime, for an iPhone game!

on level 36 and starting to get bored though. Enjoying iKnight as it is basically doing the same thing again.

I got bored of imob in the end too. Cant quite fathom why some people play up to level 200+

Anyone else try iHUD? Not the best app in the world, but with a free camera database, and a few hours of enjoying the HUD novelty, I felt it was worth the pennies it cost...

The vast majority (me too) seems to get somewhat bored after level 20-30.
Tip: Play the silent investor, buy lots of real estate, and never do missions to gain experience. Spend 95% of your money on land. Only kit yourself out with weapons when you are earning millions. Everyone else of your rank will be unable to defeat you... is how I played iKnight.

I only gain experience points when someone attacks me and looses. And am loaded.
Not the usual strategy, but doing missions is pointless. Its simply a single "button press" which will ensure you remain as feeble as others who have been playing the game for the same amount of time. You might want to get to level 15 before deciding to stick there, to ensure good land/weapons are available.
