Great shots thumbup

Will have to replay the lobby 2 race and get some shots too, like someone doing the Pitt Maneuver on me before I'd even reached the 1st bend frown

I'm not 100% on what happened, but IIRC a DLC car launched across the track and started the mayhem, next thing I was in the wall as far off the track as you could get... I was 10 secs down on the car in front by the time I rejoined cry

I think there was a little bit of lag on a certain german DLC car going by the replay he was 'bouncing' a bit.........mmmmmm stewards enquiry..........leave it two or three more days then disqualify him ala F1 wink

Thanks for the compliments guys - will get some shots of that "incident" at some point this afternoon!

re. 4WD Logo - I'll take one of those, even though I had an Impreza for a rather long time before the BMW....paperbag

T'was a beautiful evening in Maple Valley, the sun was low in the sky and the bird sat twittering in the trees, a sound only interrupted by the lovely groan of classic sports cars.

5 laps in and the top 3 places were separated by mere 100ths of seconds as we go three abreast into the final corner.

But oh no!

It looks like the orange Quattro of Stumpyalan has caught the rear quarter of Tim!

Now Tim has been forced into a rather impressive power-slide, the Lancia of TECHNOPUG is faced with a disorientated Stumpyalan!

A couple of frames later and we see that despite his hard braking efforts, he has no option but to tap Alan in a similar way to Alan tapping Tim.

Now we have not one, but two sliding Quattro's!

Andrew, with lightning fast reactions, nudges Alans front end back in the correct direction and thus putting all three cars back on track.

This is the same frame from a different angle, the smoke visible does not do the length of slide any justice!

With all the cars no going the right way, Andrew in the Lancia is forced onto the grass

But, Alans cars appears to drift wide on the exit, and this time it is Tim's turn to give the lovetap!

In the most dramatic PH style Alan goes full tilt straight into the pit wall with Tim on the wrong side.

Literally 1 frame later, this is the result!

The shards of glass narrowly miss the drivers head, thank God for racing helmet visors eh?!

Alans car is thrown into the air on impact, the crowd must be wondering if this is going to be fatal!

But lets see it again from different angles...hehe

Miraculously, the car lands the correct way up and it would seem Stumpyalan has survived to race another day.
