ps3 on pc monitor?

The girlfriend is getting pissed off with me playing the ps3 on the tv so I thought I may be able to plug it into the pc moniter whilst she is watching corrie or some other such st.
what do I need to buy and where do I get one?

If it's a recent monitor it will probably have a DVI connector so you need an HDMI to DI Convertor which are easily available from most computer/game/electronics retailers. Most PC monitors have no speakers though so you will need some external ones (Or a Stereo) to route the sound through. If you do a search for PS3 Monitor on google you will find loads of detailed advice and help.
