Want a good WW2 flight sim, any ideas???

As it says really, i want a good WW2 flight sim, ideally with a Lancaster on it.

Any ideas at all.

IL-2 Sturmovik 1946 is brilliant, but not sure whether a Lanc is on there.

+1. IL is still the daddy, ace expansion and all. Cost peanuts now, definately worth it.

I dont think there is however they keep adding planes all the time and havent kept up with any of the mods so could well be one in the works or avaliable to download.

You can get a Lancaster add on for MS Flight simulator X but you can't do any combat missions with it, just fly around!

Ok no lanc, but I'd wait for the follow up on the X-box. It looks almost real!

Best site for IL2 mods is http://www.allaircraftarcade.com/forum/index.php?s... The guys on there have tons and tons of mods. No Lancaster yet but it's in development
