Anyone else excited for this?

It had slipped under my radar until I saw this footage at the weekend

Demo is supposedly out on the 5th

Matter of opinion, I thought it was great.

Not as good as 'Black' though, is there a sequal coming for that on PS3, it was fantastic.

I never played the original, but reviews of this new one all seem to suggest it's something a bit special...roll on the 5th!

This game looks fantastic - i have a PS3 for Gran turismo 5 Prolgue and normally play First Person shoot em ups on my pc (keyboard & Mouse) as I cannot get on with a controller.

I've just placed an order for this today so can't wait now to get Killzone 2 - it allows you to play a PS3 game with your keyboard and mouse - sweet!

just finished the demo, absolutely brilliant cant wait for the full game!

I'm a bit disappointed after playing the demo. I found the control and aiming a bit awkward. Good looking game though. Maybe given some more weapons, it will get better. I think I may have overdosed on COD. Still going to pre order it

I know what you mean about the controls having played a lot of COD. Still really impressed with it though and will have a fiddle with the settings.

The game mechanics looks virtually the same as BF2142, which is no bad thing as it's an excellent game.

It seems pretty decent. Once I have my head around the controls not being the same as COD it'll be great - same thing happens when I switch between COD and Bad Co

I like it. I also found the controls a bit odd though, after a bit of trial and error alternate 2 and turning the sensitivity up seemed to work best. Short demo though!

That setup worked best for me too! Far too much COD

Shortest demo ever? Still want it; I loved the first one!

I'd disagree with this as well. Far far superior to Halo imo.

As for the Killzone 2 demo? Wow. Just Wow. The graphics are way above anything on any system ever, the AI is corking (especially the way they hide behind crates and spray their guns over the top at you) and the gameplay itself is top notch. I love the little details, like the leg up to reach the elevator, reviving your comrades and the Helgath banter.

The 27th is going to be a happy happy day.

I haven't played Killzone but agree with your comments on KZ2. Can't wait. Shoting the gas canisters on the floor of the warehouse and watching it shoot around is great as is the filing cabinets draws coming out when blown up. Little details like this could make this game epic.
