Can anyone get this to work well with a steeering wheel?

When I first got it, I only had a controller, and it was ok to drive.

I then got a wheel, and downloaded the updates (allowing adjustability of force feedback, amongst other things).

With a steering wheel, however, it seems undrivable.

e.g. braking in a straight line for Stowe (after Hangar Straight), car gets dragged to the left, and countersteering is ineffective. Result, two wheels on the grass.

Havent played on it for a while, got pissed of with the sound not being as i hoped, the steering with a G25 wasn't that bad but with no Clutch option i gave up.

Such a shame that the game doesn't deliver on realistic driving physics, because the choice of 'real' circuits is superb.
