Is it just the 'ring you have problems with or are you crap at all the other tracks too? If it's just the 'ring them I'm afraid there's no real option but to drive it until you know all the corners; I'm crap at the 'ring for just that reason and it took me ages to complete the arcade time trial.
If it's not the just 'ring then you need to improve your driving! Practice, practice, practice - using cars with less power than the opposition really sharpens you up and forces you to concentrate on racing lines and smooth progressive driving. The later career races where you're limited to a certain car class are particularly good for this.

Always turn with out breaking or accelerating.
... if you like understeer. Or load up the front by changing down and braking ridiculously late, turn in on the brakes, as the back comes around countersteer and then gives it enough throttle that you draw thick black lines to the next corner.Start with a slow D class FWD car, put on avon slicks, biggest tyres and all suspension (green)upgrades, front and rear forza wings. Good starter=MK.2 Golf GTI
That will give you a slow car with the best grip available. Use the braking line, brake in a straight line until the arrows arent red or disappear (yellow is usually ok). Apply power gently after the apex of the corner.
No substitute for laps, build up speed gradually and learn from landmarks; glance at the map if youre not too sure how tight a turn is.
Its a tough track to go round with no penalties but once you start getting the hang of it and beating your own times you can start making headway on the leaderboards.

On the odd day that it comes together, I can put in a 1.19 in a Lotus Exige, S class. Bit slower in the Cayman S - still plenty faster than me.That's with all aids off bar ABS

I'll have to see what I'm doing at LS in S-Class.
The PH B700 crew are around the 1.29-1.33 mark...

Take off suggested line, leaving the braking line. Take off the TCS and STM. This has increase my speed greatly as the TCS and STM only hinder.
Get rid of ABS as well!
