GTA4 - Brilliant!

Bought GTA4 yesterday. And have not stopped playing it since! I know it is probably old hat to most of you seasoned gamers but I just had to comment on how creative, clever and bloody hilarious it is.

I am still pretty rubbish at fighting, but good at getting laid! I am always short of cash though - is there a sure fire way of making serious money aside from missions?

When you've finished GTA I can highly recommend Saints Row 2, just as good IMO. As for making money, I found the best place to do it was in the Brucie side missions where you have to steal cars for him. Once you've done the first couple of missions for him he'll email you with a car he needs then if you deliver it in good condition you'll get a nice lump of cash. This game isn't like the other GTA's so you won't end up with a few million in the bank.

Wait until it gets stuck on the lawyer mission.

I haven't stopped playing it for nearly a year. It seems so pointless but is such a stress release.

Despite a few brief encounters with other games I always come back to GTA

Does GTA4 take advantage of the powers of HDTV? Getting on the subway and going across the city presented me with some amazing scenes of Liberty which I can only assume will look even more stunning when I get my Pioneer....

XBox, if you've got the 360 version you'll be able to buy the additional content, if you're a PS3 man then sadly you'll have to make do without.

I sold it after about a week of having it. Just couldn't get into it. Maybe I was expecting too much from it. I was very disappointed with the online play due to the extreme lag and time outt issues. Have these been cleared up? I would consider picking it up again.

Note: I'm on the Xbox
