COD5, team battle wont load

What a load of crap , it was working fine up until a few weeks ago, now it jsut says "getting match quality" in the corner for ages, the free for all is all i can use for the moment

Any ideas on how i can sort it?

Dont know what format your playing this game on, i know the PS3 COD5 Networks are getting stuffed at the moment, looking through the boards it appears its struggling a tad with up to 200k users.

Others are blaming it on them fancy tags and people playing the game from under the map.

Either way, if its the PS3 your playing on, its not just you.

Happened on 360 over the weekend as well, it had to be the amount of users going for the double points. Usually around 150k people playing a night on average and last night it was at 270k !!!

Ran like a sack of poo

They put double points on to promote it, it drags new users in, and then they get such a shocking experience that they won't come back. Seems like a promotion that just shoots itself in the foot to me ?!?!

Can't see it being anything else, the tags are always there and the n0bs that go under the map are always there, the only difference is the load.

Have you tried changing your game search preferneces, when in the online area press x and on xbox, dunno on ps3 and it will allow you to choose local, local only or something else. Local only takes longest to find a game, but generally gives best connection. The others offer faster game finding but worse connections. Might be why you cant get a game.
