Anyone else had problems with their wireless guitar's? At first I thought it was just me being particularly crap but now I'm convinced it's the guitar! Seems some presses don't register and the red fret is sticking down which is most disconcerting when playing.

Had the game/controller about a year now so looks like I need to purchase a new one. I've looked on play.com and ebay, they seem about £40 for the controller alone which sounds steep.

I had the same problem with my GH3 guitar, i just took it apart and sprayed some contact cleaner around on the fret button contacts. Seems to work fine now, worth a crack before buying a new one.

Thanks guys, will check out HMV! Guitar has already been taken apart a few times and whilst helps for a while I've now got the sticking red fret key which is really annoying.

One question, do I buy GH3 at £35 or splash out on GH3 World Tour at £50 odd? Can I play songs I already have from GH3 in World tour and vise versa?

Cheers,
Graham

I had problems with this, and I even made a post months ago with no answers.. Trawled the web adn eventually found out the problem. It's the contacts between the neck and base of the guitar, the bit where you can take it apart, they can make a poor connection. Best thing to do, is get a bit of plastic (I used a tesco clubcard) and ram it in where the neck slots in to the base, at the back of it. This will ensure that the contacts are 100% touching - I've had no more problems since then!

Also make sure the batteries have life left in them.
