Hi All,

Having a play on Forza over the weekend, i started noticing some of the propper old school cool cars on there, i mean stuff like the R5GT, E30 M3 etc,

So after reading the old school BTCC thread in Gassing, i thought i would share my efforts!

Anyone else got some old school cool!?

Blimey, I remember doing loads, including the rally Intergralle and a Quattro, but these were
to hand so to speak..

Started off black...

...ended up white, but I hated the mint racer look, so made it dirty and stone chipped with several
scratches (that is not game dirt on the car, I painted it all on)

Did a few of these in different colours. The yellow one is the more common, but I
also did blue etc...

Some old school Datsun action..

Ok, so this isn't Forza and I didn't paint these, but I played Rfactor and used the util which
allows you to mix and match cars so thought it may interest the BMW fans..

How do you recreate the dirty look so well Digby? i've been playing with off coloured shapes and weak gradients but they never wuite look right. Got any particular tools/shapes which always work their magic?

It may just be the dirt that accumulates in a race
