I'm just finishing off my race seat contraption so have decided to get a new PC or maybee a laptop?

I need some advice on what to get as i havent bought a computer for years!!

The two games i will mainly use are rFactor and GPL.

What will be the best option? Dont want to spend loads on this as it is just a play thing.

Would a laptop be ok or should i stick to a normal PC?

Thanks

Mike

Sorry to hijack the thread. I can't help as I'm considering doing the exactly the same for the same games so any advice also gratefully received by me. wink

Go for the PC gents. Much easier and cheaper when it comes to upgrade time. If a new game is released a year or two later, you might find your machine is struggling to give a good frame rate. On a P.C. Aaot of the time you can get away with just a newer spec Graphics card, just unplug the old and in with the new. Laptops you'll need a new machine. Another thing, a friend spilt coffer on his laptop. He requires a new screen & has been quoted aprrox £250.
New P.C. LCD 19" widescreen can be had for £100. Do you need mobilty?
