G25 distorts my USB headphones - help please!

Can anyone talk me through in English how I can have the USB headphones and G25 in the computer at the same time without it distorting the sound?

Thats weird.

I have a G25 and USB headphones and i dont have any problem.

Maybe try different USB ports.

Are either of them plugged into a hub?

Nope straight into the Tower (G25 at back and headphones into front)

I've tried all combinations of ports etc but no joy. Others appear to have had the same issues from what I can tell but some of the solutions I can see from Google appear to suggest going into the registry and that scares me!

I'm using a 3.5 mm jack at the moment but If I ever go online racing which I hope to, I'll need my USB headphones/mic...
