Monitor with X-Box 360 and PS2

My lad has gone to UNi and in the interests of saving space in his room (he doesn't need a telly) is after buying a decent(ish) - say 22" or 24" - size flatscreen/lcd monitor to use with his games consoles and games PC.

Anything we should know, watch out for etc? Any recommendations?

I was in the same situation yesterday.

Found it VERY difficult to find a PC monitor that would accept HDMI (X360) and the PC (DVI in my case). The cheapest was a 19" Samsung monitor at £329.99

So I bought a 32" HD LCD Sharp TV, which has 2 HDMI ports and a port for the PC. £359.99, only £30 more.

It does take up a bit of room but for the price difference a TV is probably the next best thing.

How about a PC vga cable for the xbox? I've got one lying around here somewhere...

The BenQ G2400W is pretty fantastic!
Have seen a mates one and that shall be my next PC monitor!
It has HDMI and 1920*1200 res so can display Full HD 1080P
