Fifa 09 online league

Hey everyone, just looking through the online modes and saw that you can set up your own online leagues.

So I have set up a PH league which up to 20 of us can join. I'm not sure how it works yet though but hopefully we'll get the hang of it.

If you want to join go to xbox live- online game modes-online leagues- then search leagues.

League name- Pistonheads
Abbreviation- PHL

Hopefully we can get a few games going.

What teams we looking at for the league RS? I'll join later. I've join a couple of 'championship' leagues as Wolves, only to get mullered by Barcelona and Manyoo.............

I was thinking we would do premiership teams, but i'm happy for us to do lower league teams.

you guys will know this... how do you perform the shhhh ( i.e. finger to lips ) celebration after you score ?? Someone did this to me after i equalised in the 88th minute then he scored the winner on 91

My internet is slightly sorted so I will give this a go. Just go easy I'm not the best player. Anyone tried the 20 player on-line mode, 19 players chasing after the ball while I struggle to hold the defence and then give away a penalty its insane.

Good couple of games there, nice own goal in the first one. I'm pretty sure if we'd been equal teams you would have thrashed me though. I was really struggling.

Yep it was a moment of comedy! I really need to learn how to finish/ cross/ header properly! Good game though, and a fine goal in the second from you.

Is there anyway you can tell if the player you invite is currently in a game? Obviously people are not gonna leave a game to come play a league game because of the penalties for quitting.

If theyre on your friends list you can go to their name and it should show what they're doing, if not then I don't have a clue.
