Best place to pre-order games? quick delivery

Anyone know a site who are reliable at getting games to you on release day?

Last couple ive ordered from HMV have always arrived a few days after, good offers though.

The reason im a little impatient this time, and it is a little sad but hoping I will get away with it in this forum, is that ive booked Friday 7th off so I can have a day to divulge in Gears of War 2 while the missus is at work! Not sure whether to pre-order it and hope it arrives, or as im nights Thursday nip into the 24 hour Tescos on the way home at 6am...

game.co.uk have yet to let me down

avoid amazon and play.com for pre-orders, they have both been late.

ETA: if your really keen you'll go the 24H route.

I would have said play a year or so back, but they consistently fail to deliver on the day of release these days.

Get all my games from gameplay.co.uk. pre-orders usually arrive day before release. recommended.

I get pre-orders off play.com and i always get them a day before they are released

Last two I've ordered have been late - happened to an awful lot of people on here with GTAIV to.

I suppose it must depend on where people live
