The only time I have ever had that fail is if the actual LIVE feature is down, but having said that, they usually give you a couple of days notice.

Hmmm, not sure what it could be then, I left mines untouched for almost 2months earlier in the year and I had no problems when I went back to it..
The only thing I can think of is that they are doing some sort of maintenance on it. Can't get onto the xbox.com from here though, does it say anything on there?

First thing i did, no much info on my error codes, virgin media are absolute crap, the girl on the phone said she couldnt reset my broadband line when they blatantly can. My membership says everything is fine, my card isnt due for renewal until next year. Very odd this especially as neither my service provider or microsoft have been of any help.Toenheel, can you get in at all though as mine does not even allow me into xbox live full stop, it could be as I activated the free silver membership with gold for a month so it closed my account ? which ran out a couple of weeks ago but since then I have got a gold membership for the year but I cant access xbox live to even activate it ???
Is that the same as you ? do you have to manually enter your IP address etc as I know my WPA key and Username are correct ?
