Is it me or is there seemingly more and more idiots getting headsets now.. I was on last night and there was some irish dude having a go at someone for no reason.. Someone asked me what was goin on and i just said i didn't know, they were just being a
holes, to which Mr attitude turned on me and then turned on some scottish bloke who told him to shut up. Where are these people coming from? I'm all for a bit of banter and a laugh but for gods sake it's a video game, it's not real life. Grow up or fk off.. why do ppl have to come on and be an ahole..?? Off soapbox now....

You should try playing on xbox live, ALL the idiots have headsets.
Fortunately its easy to mute them.

Xbox live gets team killers as well now. Either they think it's funny, have mates on the other side or are just complete idiots and will kill as many of your team as possible with a rocket from the outset. So on search & destroy you spend the whole time watching the 1-2 team mates left get nailed.

It got on my tits too, but then I havent played any games at all in... about 6 months.I didnt mind a bit of bad language or the random chats, for me the worst problem was the totally uncalled for emotional aggression, which would spiral out of control into an argument or bickering between parties. I dont have a mic so never participated, but more often than not, someone would be muted in most games during a firefight.
The only other really tiresome tosh was the playing of music in the background, or heavy breathing. Or the whole team having to listen to some muppet chat to his family/friends.

I think there's one game which automatically mutes everyone else if you don't have a mic plugged in yourself. Simple genius.
