As above? Quite fancy an F1 game but I'm pretty sure there isn't one on the 360. Any reason for this or anyone know if there's one on the horizon?

I think someone said the PS3 had an exclusive license, which (guessing out loud) means that the 360 can have a game, but without the names of real racers/sponsors - is this the way it works?

Either way, Im keen to get my paws on an up to date PS3 version - any more developments on this, either?

The next F1 game is being done my Codemasters (Colin McRae Dirt, Grid) so I'm guessing it'll be multi-platform.

yeah, Sony had a license which means until next year it is the only platform that can have a F1 game...

though as said, codemasters next effort will be released once that license runs out, so should be multi-platform.

The article says the game will be available on console, hand-held and PC.

Codemasters have confirmed that an F1 game is coming to the XBOX 360 as well as PS3 in the next couple of years.

Ah well, that's quite good news I guess...not played dirt though - is the physics engine any good?

No, in my opinion the Engine was so bad. Terrible. Same as the 90's style, really over sensitive.

Grid was a good Engine if you ask me, I quite liked the way that one worked.

I'll buy an F1 game when it comes out if the Engine is any good.

With Codemasters making the game it will almost certainly be on all platforms.

Sony had the exclusive licence until the end of 2006 (Thus F106 and F1CE being their final games) but for 2007 no-one picked up the licence.
