If you were on a ship and it sunk, leaving you stranded, alone, on an island with nothing except an Xbox 360 (no xbox live of course) with one game other than Forza 2, what would it be?

I am actually in this situation. Imagine the ship as you job and the island being a hotel room in South Wales.

It's be a tough call between COD4 & GTA4 but I think GTA would win as there's more to it.

If I hadn't finished it it would be GTA - otherwise, Oblivion or Orange Box, as they're both games I can always enjoy going back to.

Assuuuuuuming, I had the above mentioned leccy and a TV....

Do we get online as well?

If so - it would be Rainbow Six Vegas2 - Love the online stuff.

When I'd get bored, I'd send a message to my friends list people and get rescued.

I'd rather be stuck on an island without an xbox and with Isla Fisher. Can I have her as my extra 'game'wink ?

Forza 1.

Still brilliant and no game has legs as long as Forza. You can always inmprove your times, get better in certain places, tweak the car a little bit more etc

In my opinion all other games would just get dull after a certain amount of time

Not played Vegas 2. Heard it was a letdown. Can pick it up in game for £20 at the moment?

Worth a look you think?

If we had Live, it'd be COD4 no doubt.

Without, it's a difficult one.. Ace Combat 6 is good, but only the first time you play the story through then it can get abit boring. Same with COD4 not online, you can keep going until you've done it on Vetaran but thats all.

Umm, except Forza 2 i'd say GTA4 too. I've only played it about 2 hours, but if I didn't have Live for COD i'd play it loads more.

Oblivion - if I had all of the extra content.

That game is seriously huge, and gets harder as you get better equipped so would keep me pretty busy.

I'm playing through The Shivering Isles at the moment which is pretty good so far, quite a lot to do.

My original disc was badly scratched so I tracked down a copy of the Game of the Year edition which has the two main expansion packs on it. It's been deleted now but some shops still have it (got mine at HMV).

Depends whether you enjoyed the first one. It's very much more of the same, with a few tweaks and additions. I enjoyed the first one and so bought and enjoyed R6LV2.

Not a let down, as such. I think the people who said that did so because they expected more and something different.

play.com have it for 17.99.

I've enjoyed playing it on Live.

You can play co-operatively through story (either hosting or joining), up to 4 players co-operating in Terrorist Hunt (pretty much as on the original) or in the various adversarial mode.

It seems to attract more "serious" players than something like CoD4 - people playing R6LV generally seem more inclined to want to work together as a team rather than run around doing their own thing. Some people even go as far as to boot you if you enter a lobby without a mic as they take the view that if you're not talking, you can't participate properly.

You can't go wrong with this game at the play.com price if you enjoyed the original.

Timeshift is quite enjoyable. Slowing time, taking someone's gun then watching them run away or just blow their surprised head off provides hours of fun. Same with the sticky grenades. If this island had live, then MP would be wasted, no one plays it.
