Forza 2 Paint-jobs

Ive seen some fantasic paint jobs of Forza 2 cars on here, but the decals on some of the cars are nothing like the ones that you can get in the car in the manufacturers decals.

How do you get these wonderful decals to put on the cars? Is there a way of importing them somehow?

They are painstakingly made from scratch as far as I know.

Ive done a few simple designs and they take ages!

Yep all made from scratch, I've made several, usually 40-60 layers for a logo, depending on it's complexity.

Oh..... In that case, Hats off to you guys that do them!

I now understand why people put them up for so many credits in the auction house! A million or so credits to buy other in game cars with is nothing!

You are true artists... And I'm going to have to spend hours on there now. The wife wont be happy!

Here's my Playboy Audi A4, took ages making that damn rabbit!



The one in the layers wasn't quite right for it so used that as a base then re-drew it more to the correct shape over the top.

There really is no import. It takes time (too much) patience (lots of) and a bit of brain power!! Some of the designs coming out of Japan put mine to shame, the drifting boys come up with stunning work.

The key, start simply & develop from there..... Good luck

real is difficult, cartoons are easier,

Well here goes, now I didn't have very long to do this, so was restricted in how long to spend on it, especially once the wife had come home and wanted to watch dull tennis. So some of the sponsors are ones from the game just to fill in the blanks Going to make the proper ones up tonight maybe. The Shell on the front took the most time. Anyway, go easy, its my first effort.

Oh dear oh dear oh dear.......Welcome to the club, it's a slippery slope from here on. Each design you now do will get ever more complex, you'll get obsessed with seeking perfection for each design & spend hour after hour trying to perfect it. Your wife will get fed up & leave you, your friends will distance themselves from you because you'd rather spend time with your Xbox creating an totally accurate replica of XYZ logo, you'll lose your job because you always fall asleep at work having been up till 4am pefecting the logo yet further, need I go on?!?!?!?
