Quake Wars and Battlefield Bad Company
Discussion
Installed both demos on the 360 last night having never played any of the previous versions of the games.
Bad Company seemed crap? I try to avoid EA games and this seemed to be more about "funny" dioluge than gameplay. I know a few PH'ers enjoyed it, should I give up or keep on playing?!
On the other hand I loved Quake Wars, different enough from COD4 with the objective based idea and interesting take on different weapons. Great! Anyone else tried it?

Only on the PC.I'm guessing 360 owners can't play PCs?
...probably.
I love ET:Quake Wars on the PC. Great pick-up-and-play game. Less po-faced than BF2142.

I haven't played it much this year. My brother is the expert on this. He was head-hunted from one clan to another better one.

I think its a different game to COD4, Alot of people i have hear are trying to compare the two when it should be seen in its own light.
I have been playing the demo multilayer most this week and i find the style of game better than COD
Thats a fair point, but it can be compared to BF2....and in that comparision, there is no comparison...if you get my drift.I have been playing the demo multilayer most this week and i find the style of game better than COD
Have not Tried quake wars, have not heard much about it. BFBC is a great idea but not executed that well, it's to lagy and does not feel free in the movement, they still have not bettered BF1942 Desert combat for playability and skill.
BFDC was the greatest online shootem up, with huge maps and 100 people servers, in a tourney with tactics and strategies, with people assigned roles and vehicles, it simplay was the best experience, BF2 did not match up and BFBC has not either.
Mouse FPS is unbeatable, you cant rocket jump with a control pad.
COD4 is the closest yet to the playability of BF1942, it is an excellent online game.

...probably.
No probably about it....probably.
I don't remember all the details as such, just stuck in my mind as I though KB&M would beat a joypad anyday.
So I guess there is just a sniff of 'probably' as opposed to not at all....

Let's just say it didn't go at all well for the PS2 players.
