Nascar 08 - PS2 - Does it have 2 player mode on it?

As the title says really, I need to know whether Nascar 08 for the PS2 has a 2 player mode on it.

Does anyone who owns the game know?

Nascar 09 is due out on PS2, PS3 and X360 sometime late June/ early July. I'd wait for that.
