Just found this video. Can this possibly be real? Judge for yourself.

I'd like to believe it was true, but there are a lot of players out there who rig up old ROMs to their PCs and advance them frame by frame in order to get perfect scores, there are some amazing speed run videos of Mario Bros. and Mario 64 that look awe-inspiring at first, but when you realise that it's someone who just advances the game and is capable of rewinding it back if anything goes wrong, then it loses some of its shine.

It probably explains it better than I ever could. There are a lot of genuine speedruns out there though, some involve glitches in the game like passing through walls or invisible barriers to advance, two that I particularly enjoyed watching involved completing Mario 64 in under 20 minutes and another guy who did the original Half Life in under an hour, by doing things such as jumping up wall mines that he placed in order to get over an 'impassable' barrier.

There was a video of a bloke who played through the first few levels of the NES Mario Bros game - Blindfold! And I am sure I saw one where he did it with his feet. There are some people in this world who have far too much spare time. Shame I am not one of them. I fancy working on Track and Field with my knob!!
