Is it possible to replicate some of the touring car stuff using only the upgrades available with suspension tuning?
Anyone done this so they are the same everything as the originals barring bodywork mods like wheel arches etc?
If so, which ones?
Thanks
ETA
Does anyone know where you can get easy to read current (ish ) actual mod numbers like camber, toe, diff etc?

Probably best to have a browse through the forums at : http://forzamotorsport.net/default.htm

I can't see why you wouldn't be able to replicate some of the settings. Just depends on how precise you want to be.

I've done replica's of the RAC BMW and the SEAT Leon from the BTCC, haven't got any pictures to hand though.

Yeah sure, I'll do them tonight if I get the chance, was trying to do the whole fleet from last years BTCC, but an Astra rather than the Vectra, but only got as far as those two. The BMW took ages!!

The cars have been sent, I put them on a couple of standard cars so they'll need a bit of tinkering to make them look "right".

Iv done an Arkas Astra, vxr astra, hpi lexus and eurotech integra from last season.
Id happily gift them all apart from the integra, I like it to be exlusive.

Currently working on the 2008 cars. Not easy with all the graphical glitchesbanghead

We really should set up a pistonheads touring car league.

Wow, amazing liveries chaps, any chance of me blagging a copy of some of the cars if I gift you both the car to put it on & something else for doing it????

A PH Touring car league sounds a laugh if we could manage it. Hey some of the lobbys have that much body contact its just like the BTCC anyway!!!

GT is MuzWez. Add me & send a message of what car you could paint & livery & what one you want me to gift for doing it, I'll then sort the rest.

Cheers

GT is Virtual Gruffy for those that wanted a Team Modena Gallardo. I'm not on very often but I'll send them next time I get a chance.

I'd be up for some kind of race series with some limit on power or makes for some close racing.

Me too. I've raced a few knobs who didn't know Silverstone very well, but it would be good to have a proper race in some evenly matched cars.

Some kind of BTCC-ish race would be good, with VXRs / Minis / Leons etc or higher powered cars...

Sounds like a great idea, i'll be keeping an eye on this one!

Im almost finished this Sag - just got the Penninsula sticker for the bonnet left. Anybody got some decent pics of the real DeWalt car I could copy?

I would say start with class B, it's still basic but has a good range of cars from various manufacturers & would allow for either subtle modding of more powerful cars or major modding of original class D or C cars.

Perhaps if we all have a think & play over the next fews days & consider manditory & prohibated upgrades together with minimum weights we might be able to come with a cracker.

It shouldn't get too complicated but does need to be right & fair for all.

Can't wait !!!

No worries. I'd love to get in on some racing action too if I can find the time. How about BTCC and BGT categories? I just want to wheel out the Lambo biggrin

Maybe someone could start a thread for this, where we can discuss and agree on a class or a make to race. What we dont want is people racing with cars that rocket on the straights but slide round corners like a blamanche (ahem Charger...)
The one thing that pisses me off when i race is when you always have to slow down to a cruise in the corners waiting for Mr Drag racer to hit a straight. I always though racing was about getting round corners....
