Im bored what game to play?

I like playing PC games and enjoyed racing in the PH GTL league.

Ive been playing counterstrike this week but its got boring allready.

So what games should I play? (on the PC)

Ive looked on play.com but nothing took my fancy.

FPS's - Crysis, CoD4, Rainbow 6: Vegas, or something a bit older - FEAR and the expansion are fantastic!
DoD Source is cracking as well!

If you want a racing game then how about GTR2, TDU is good for something a bit easier to 'play'

Surely if the demo's been keeping you busy since October, then the full game is going to be even better?

When I get bored of the demo, I'll buy the full game. By then, it'll be 50p for the entire series and you get a free H&K MP5 and 3 magazines of ammunition.

But it's like £5 already on ebay. The follow up is out at the end of March so the servers are likely to be even more empty come the end of the month.

I would recommend you spend the money on the orange box (can be downloaded via steam).

You get from the orange box:
Team Fortress 2
Half-life 2 episodes one and two
Portal

I have actually stopped playing BF2 for team fortress two. The game is so much fun with the cartoony graphics (that look superb!).

It's worth paying the fiver it will cost you for the full game as the other maps do provide opportunities for playing in different ways. Great multiplayer game.

I'd like to get that but only really want portal. TF2 looks great in the videos but does it provide the same scope for strategic play as BF2? That's the thing I like about BF2 over tf, the chance to use your brains rather than running around firing like a maniac (although that's fun too).

I would say Team Fortress two is equal in strategic terms against BF2. The games characters are very well balanced and by using one character well it can result in a team win. I like playing the sniper or engineer in the game as you can really get at the other team with these. If a medic + heavy is attacking they can be very hard to stop except by a engineer's sentry gun or a well placed head shot.

Portal is good fun but it's very short, I wouldn't buy the orange box just for that game because it's over so quickly.

Im downlaoding it now.

If I get on ok with the trial you can expect me to be in the league races soon.

for some reason I thought Rfactor was consol only so I didnt read any of the threads :P
