I've got the game but not really played it yet, mainly due to me just having a rather ancient ATI 800XL graphics card, the rest of my PC is up to date (Q6600, 2gb ram, etc), but I really need a new graphics card!

Anyone got any recommendations? Was looking at an 8800GT for about £125 on Overclockers (on offer atm), I dont really play games on the PC but still prefer the PC for race sims and use the Xbox 360 for everything else. So £200+ on a card just isn't worth it for me at the moment.

Any thoughts?

Any card based on either the nVidia 9600GT or AMD (ATI) X3879 chips with 512MB RAM are probabky your best bet for value for money smile

My choice would be 8800GT, or Radeon 3850/3870 at that sort of money.
On a 24", the 3870 or 8800GT are the better choices smile

While the 8800GT is a very good chip, I would aviod the 256MB versions as they seem to suffer from lack of video memory at relativly modest resolutions in some of the latest games compared to the 512MB versions.
From reading the reviews of the 512MB 9600GT, these seem to offer performance very close to the 512MB 8800GT and above (well above in some situations) the 256MB 8800GT, while costing a fair bit less than the 512MB version and about the same as the 256MB cards.
