playstation 3 demo thread !!!

anyone download them? this weeks demo is
: lost planet online :3rd person shooter
... to be honest i thought this game was utter rubbish, the graphics look old and the game play is very poor, 6 people online is old, surely? this game should have stayed on the 360... (3/10)

Only demo I've played recently was Devil May Cry 4, which although pretty seemed quite boring to me.

Agreed. I found holding down 'Lock' and any combination of any buttons looked pretty and eventually killed the monsters.

There are a few games like that on the PS3 - not into them myself.

everybodys golf was last weeks :S i got mixed up -.- (lost planet was the American i think, get confused as i have japenese,hong kong,english and american accounts)..

Fifa 2008 - Rubbish far too complicated for a football game

PES 2008 - Rubbish

NFL Tour - Great

Virtua Tennis - Great

Turok - Was really looking forward to this, but it was a disappointment. It should be great as it uses IDs engine tech but the movement didn't seem natural and the control system is awful.

Ridge Racer - Rubbish

The Club - OK, but boring.

Devil May Cry 4 - a bit repetative, and the loading times are dreadful. Run down a corridor.. loading screen... run down another corrider... .loading screen....

GT5 - Good

NBA 08 & NHL 08 - Rubbish, and I like previous NBA and NHL games!!

Kane & Lynch - Rubbish

Drake Fortune and Rachet & Clank - AMAZING!

The Darkness - Rubbish

Heavenly Sword - Good demo, but I reckon it could become another mash the buttons type game which I don't really go for.

The next game I will get will probably either be Drakes Fortune, beautiful graphics and really fluid gameplay or Rachet & Clank.

has serious frame rate issues... get uncharted though, best game i've played

stu .. if you have a ps3 you MUST get uncharted and R&CTofD; personally I think HS is also worth every penny, its beautifully stunning and great story, gameplay could be more but only reason people notice is becoz what you have is so great.
