I didn't think that UMDs were region coded? Alternatively rip your DVDs to the memory stick (or obtain *cough* converted files *cough* off the interweb thingy) and there will be no region coding.
Have a search as there was a thread on here about how to do this.
Thanks guys, Ive ripped Silence of The Lambs and Polar Express to MPEG4 and transfered them to my memory stick. However they take up nearly all the 1gig that I have and at £80 or near enough it's an expensive way of doing things especially as the UMD movies are only £20
Yep thats the problem at the moment especially if you are like me and demand a high quality rip... I refuse to buy all my dvd's again on UMD so its something i will have to put up with. When bigger memory sticks come out and the prices come down it should be solved though.
Take a look at Lik-Sang: they are doing a 4GB hard drive that plugs in to the Memory Stick port. With the extended battery, I understand it is very good to hold and gives you a good bit more capacity.
I agree that deleting and reloading MP3s/films is a royal pain....
