I know it has been posted not so long ago but!!

I currently have a laptop connected to BT Broadband through a BT Voyager 100 modem. and thats it, no router etc.

Is there a way i can buy a 360 "Online Kit" and some ethernet cables and it will work or do i have to buy a seperate router aswell????

Cheers

But a network card, and a cross wired cable. The cross wired cable is needed if you are plugging your xbox directly into the PC (not directly into the modem, or router) as I understand it.

If you plug directly into the router IIRC, then the standard cable is fine.

John.

AFAIK you can't plug the Xbox into the modem. You will have to either
* get a Basic ADSL router, this will replace your modem and you can plug the network cable into that. These are cheap enough now with some as low as £40
* if you laptop has an ethernet port on the back you can plug a crossover network cable into the xbox & laptop and use internet connection sharing on the laptop.
